Water Activities

Throughout the week, campers will have multiple opportunities to go out in one of our boats with their cabin mates and to ride in a tube behind the boat with a friend. Canoes and giant stand up paddle boards are also available for campers to use. As campers explore beautiful Lake Lure, they will be surrounded with breathtaking views of Chimney Rock and the Hickory Nut Gorge.

Campers will hop on tubes and slide together down our epic 250-foot hillside slide. It’s the perfect blend of adventure and safety, with every ride managed by a water-trained team of staff and lifeguards. More photos to come!

We’ve transformed inflatable gymnastics mats into wild, staff-led slip-and-slide races! These cabin-group games are the ultimate mix of laughter, water, and energetic fun.

Campers can cool off and play in our 140,000-gallon pool, designed for both free swim and staff-led games. New for summer 2025: Watermelon Ball (synthetic ball)—an underwater challenge in which teams try to advance the ball across the pool. The dense vinyl ball is filled with water, so it can be bounced on the bottom of the pool and passed underwater up to ten feet!

Down at our waterfront, climb the massive inflatable climbing wall, take a ride on the water slide, swing into the refreshing water from the rope swing, or go for a swim in our designated swimming area!
