Mac Hillabush

Mac and Naomi, married in 2003, have always had a heart for youth and children. They served at summer camps in high school and college, and then served in ministry together as a youth pastor in Washington state for 11 years. During that time, they became foster parents and fell in love with that ministry. Mac stepped down from being a youth pastor and devoted all of his extra time to fostering. In about eight years they had close to 40 children come through their home. Mac’s day job was driving a garbage truck in the streets of Seattle where he collected many fun stories. Five years later, they moved to North Carolina and bought a small motel which they ran in Lake Lure for the past couple of years. Throughout this journey of life God has blessed them with 5 amazing kids biological, adopted internationally, and adopted through foster care. And to top it all off, they also have a wiry yellow lab named Wiggles. Mac and his family is so excited to use their gifts, talents and abilities to impact children towards the Gospel.
