Head Counselor

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Provide male or female counselors support through training and instruction during orientation
• Be a representative for male or female counselors on leadership team
• Serve as a counselor in a cabin

QUALIFICATIONS

• Professing Christian that commits to follow the mission and vision of Camp Lurecrest Ministries
• Displays leadership skills, maturity and safety consciousness
• Must be a team player with a strong work ethic
• Able to complete job tasks while being attentive to camper experience and overall safety
• Respond with grace in high-stress situations
• Willing to teach and invest in campers

REQUIREMENTS

• At least two years out of high school
• Served as CLM counselor for one or more years
• Able to work on your feet, be outside all day, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles in a day
• Signed agreement of CLM Summer Staff Handbook
• Successful completion of CLM Orientation Training
