The overall responsibility of the Camp Lurecrest male and female counselors is to serve as a Christian role model for all Camp Lurecrest campers.
The overall responsibility of the Camp Lurecrest male and female counselors is to serve as a Christian role model for all Camp Lurecrest campers.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
● Directly overseeing 12-14 campers
● Work in unison with a co-counselor
● Supervising an area of camp during free time
● Spending time with kids when not on duty during free time
● Leading and participating in special events
● Leading nightly devotionals for campers
Camp Lurecrest is a Christian youth residential summer camp in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in western North Carolina on Lake Lure. From September through April, Camp Lurecrest hosts retreat groups from churches, schools, and ministries. Our mission is to love God, love others, and make disciples of Jesus Christ through camping ministries.
