Duties include but are not limited to:
- Insure that proper health and safety standards are maintained in the preparation, service, and storage of all food items
- Cooking meals
- Assist the Food Services Coordinator in coordinating staff preparation and service of
meals and snacks according to menus, recipes, and camp schedule
- Keep inventory to ensure proper amount of food is on-hand to prepare menu items
- Keep track of amount of food prepared and leftover – provide this information to the Food Services Coordinator for food ordering
QUALIFICATIONS
- Professing Christian that commits to follow the mission and vision of Camp Lurecrest Ministries
- Must be team player with a strong work ethic
- Needs to display maturity and safety consciousness
- Food service experience preferred
- Able to complete job tasks while being attentive to camper experience and overall safety
- Respond with grace in high-stress situations
- Willing to perform hands-on tasks as well as teach and invest in campers in a support staff role
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2 full years out of high school with relevant experience
- Able to work on your feet, be outside all day, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles in a day
- Signed agreement of CLM Summer Staff Handbook
- Successful completion of CLM Orientation Training
Program staff will operate under the camp guidelines for safety. By living, eating, and serving on-site, staff will model the values of CLM, as outlined in the Summer Staff Handbook and contract both on and off the job.
