James was on summer staff from 1989-91. He has been a summer volunteer, board member, and now sends his children to camp as campers and summer staff. His favorite memory of camp was seeing Brett Ray in 1989 do his first song, "Watch the Lamb."

From September through April, Camp Lurecrest hosts retreat groups from churches, schools, and ministries. Our mission is to love God, love others, and make disciples of Jesus Christ through camping ministries.
