Camp Lurecrest Ministries

This is a very delicate area for me as Executive Director. Our mission and purpose is to Exalt Christ. To honor and exalt Jesus Christ requires one primary and essential element: trust! To arrive at this balance between finances and trust requires much prayer. The Lord has blessed us abundantly in the last years and our monthly income covers about 70% or our annual budget. We end each year with an opportunity gap, and we then come to our wonderful family and make this ministry gap known to them and to the Lord and He always provides. I believe that the Lord will continue to speak to hearts of our wider Camp Lurecrest family that is growing each year and through them provide the finances to completely fund our deficit. To end the year with our budget needs met by our monthly sustainers is our prayer. This amounts to about $22,000 monthly. We are now at about $17,000 monthly. Pray! Next, when our operational budget is met, we will then pray and submit the plans for each new yearly capital budget and ask the Lord to provide this money through those to whom He speaks. We believe that God’s work, done God’s way, has God’s provision.

 Lastly, I believe that God has clearly spoken to us and is pleased that we have moved to developing our Master Plan. We will not be locked in to anything for any reason that locks God out; however, the Bible speaks of the wisdom of proper, prayerful planning. Pray for us please as we continue this huge and exciting process of planning.
