Lifeguard Waterfront Staff (6 staff each session)
Age: Must have at least completed the 12th grade
Certifications: Lifeguard Certification and CPR that is valid through August 2006
Waterfront certification or attend Waterfront certification class at Camp on June 5th
Experience: Life guarding experience required
Other: Needs to display maturity and safety consciousness, have a willingness to serve and a desire to grow spiritually.
Outdoor Adventure Staff (8 staff)
Age: Must be at least one full year out of high school
Certifications: Professional Rescuer First Aid / CPR [completed or to be completed, can be provided through orientation]
Experience: Experience with high ropes courses desired, but can be provided through orientation and experience with low ropes / initiative facilitation desired, but can be provided through orientation.
Other: Needs to display maturity and safety consciousness, have a willingness to serve and a desire to grow spiritually. Also, should be physically fit, resilient and hardworking.
Ceramics Assistant (1 staff)
Age: Must have at least completed the 11th grade
Certifications: none required
Experience: Preferred but not required
Other: Must demonstrate leadership, creativity, and responsibility, have a willingness to serve and a desire to grow spiritually.
Counselor (16 female and 10 male)
Age: Must be at least one full year out of high school
Certifications: none required
Experience: experience with children/youth preferred
Other: Needs to display Christian leadership, have a willingness to serve and a desire to grow spiritually.
Spiritual Responsibility: Must lead daily devotions for his or her cabin
Lead Cook (1 staff)

Experience: Food service experience preferred but not required

Ranch House/Hospitality (1 staff)

Experience: administrative experience and computer skills required [Microsoft Office proficiency]
Other: Needs to display maturity, have a willingness to serve and a desire to grow spiritually. Also, must be articulate, have a friendly disposition, use proper phone etiquette and be knowledgeable about the camp.
Media Coordinator/Chapel Producer/Sound Technician (1 staff)
For returning staff only

Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
Certifications: none required
Experience/Responsibilities: Production experience preferred. Must be comfortable using Mac OSX, running and creating Powerpoint slides, overseeing all Media production and activity, and responsibility for all media equipment maintenance and care.
Other: Needs to display maturity, have a willingness to serve and a desire to grow spiritually.
Leader in Worship and Boat Driver (1 staff)
For returning staff only
Interview required
Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
Certifications: must take Lake Lure Boating Safety course
Experience: Experience leading worship and be musically gifted, experience driving a boat
Other: Needs to display maturity, have a willingness to serve and a desire to grow spiritually.
Spiritual Responsibility: Must be spiritually accountable to the Camp Director and be responsible for the spiritual direction of the worship team. Must display passionate devotion to Jesus Christ.
Program Director (1 staff)
For returning staff only

Age: Must be at least two full years out of high school
Certifications: none required
Experience: Production and programming experience preferred. Must be creative, quick witted and comfortable on stage.
Other: Needs to display maturity, creativity, have a willingness to serve and a desire to grow spiritually.
Digital Videographer (1 staff)
For returning staff only
Interview and portfolio review required
Age: Must be at least two full years out of high school
Certifications: none required
Experience/Responsibilities: Must shoot, edit and duplicate the weekly camper video in time for distribution prior to campers’ departure. Must be creative and proficient in digital video-editing software. Preference will be given to applicant who is competent in Final-Cut Pro HD.
Other: Needs to display maturity, have a willingness to serve and a desire to grow spiritually.
Digital Photographer (1 staff)
For returning staff only
Interview and portfolio review required
Age: Must be at least two full years out of high school
Certifications: none required
Experience/Responsibilities: Photography Experience using digital camera required,. Must be comfortable using Mac OSX, running and creating Powerpoint slides. Must take photos, download to computer and upload to website on a daily basis, create several short slide shows during the week and one long slideshow on the last night using either Powerpoint, I-photo or I-Movie
